Close to being ready to go in the water. Prop is an odd JM grey colour. Somebody said, "It's been anti-fouled", and walked away. Now do I get all the stuff off and make it shine like a gun barrel or leave it and see what happens this season? TIA

Use a flexi disc in a small anglegrinder it will come up like new, if its OK that is? if not it will show all the lacework?

If it's smooth and not chipped then leave it. If re-antifouling use a copper free hard antifoul like Trilux 33.
You dont say what type of prop it is. Most Aluminium props like on outdrives and outboards are painted anyway. If its bronze either antifoul or polish and leave bare. Some swear by lanolin grease. Personally I antifoul.
