This may have been covered before in another post but what do you use to repaint your props?
Has anyone tried Seajet's Peller Clean, it has a good write up but looks a bit costly! What do you think???? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

um, no need to paint a propellor, realy. The idea of the paint is eithr to repel infestations of weed/ barnacles and/or to provide a sacrificial layer inthe event of needing to scrape the aforementioned off. However, sincethe prop is solid polishd metal spinning at high speed, you have trouble getting paint to stick, or stay stuck, and in any case scraping won't harm the base material - unlike grp.

Yes - used it last year & this. Tried it in desperation cos those pesky chalky things used to stick like hell to my props & not come off even after a run. It's a real pain to put on - you have to mess about with a sort of chemistry set & spend ages applying different coats.

Anyway - whether it's just the peller stuff or something else, speed's up from max 22.8 kts to 24.9 kts & max revs up from 2600 to 2900. Cheaper than a lift out.

Hi Andrew, sounds good, what props do you have? how far does one kit go? and does it require a retreatment yearly?
