Does anyone have experience regarding Prop Speed ?

I am having my Nikel Bronze duo props from my DPH legs cleaned and wish to try and protect once she goes back in the water. I wonder if any more successful than applying the usual antifouling paints that seem to peel very quickly? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Yup, tried it on my boat in the Med. It was v expensive mainly because the props have to be carefully etch primed prior to the application and it was useless. It still allowed barnacles to adhere to the props and started peeling off within weeks. Waste of money IMHO. It's cheaper and more effective to pay a diver when you need your props cleaned

I'm going to put it on myself to make sure that its done properly.

Boat is going to be lifted next month. Soon after, we are going to Malta and back by the end of May.

Should be a good test - It will be great if it survives the 1500 miles round trip ----- and actually works as an antifoul of course.

Used it and I rate it i was lucky we had a few tins over after coating a lux yacht props and exposed shafts, done mine after it sailed away. The finish feels like silicon and is tacky took the boat out his year and the props and the prop speed are still in very good condition. it is expensive but you get what you pay. I am sure there is cheeper materials on the maket but mine came very cheep. (nothing)

Many thanks for all your replies. Will investigate a bit more and give a long thought as what to try. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
