Hi,

While looking for prop paint and cleaning solutions also for car I spotted ceramic coatings, usually the reserve of car 'detailers', reading the attributes of some of this gear thought it might make a good coating for a prop, hard, durable, smooth, tough surface, corrosion resistant, UV resistant. Bullt up in layers, might give it a go and check at end of season could be the ticket instead of expensive paints!

£3 lids a bottle out of China, your guess is as good as mine as to whats in the bottle, on the prop worth a blast as a gunge buster...leave the Aston Martin out!

I'll keep you posted!

Very interested to hear your experiences.

Apart from frequent use the obvious way to keep a prop clean is to paint with something that prevent growth by being extremely slippery - or is poisonous.
And will last at least one full season at a fair cost.

Several products exists, so far none to my knowledge have proven 100% efficient
