I have recently purchased a 25' arvor angling boat aprox 2 years old. when it was taken out of the water the anodes had completely wasted away and the prop was badly corroded which resulted in a new prop being purchased. A new hull anode has also been fitted. It was noticed on the battery isolation switches there was a separate switch to isolate the negative terminals of the battery’s as well as the normal 1and 2 battery isolation switch. By leaving the switch in the off position which I suspect the previous owner had been doing as this was the position I found it in, would this be why the anodes and prop had corroded so badly .Is it breaking the galvanic corrosion cell. regards Dave
