Prop cleaning

Can anyone advise on cleaning a brass prop please.

Plenty of elbow grease, or a rotary wire brush on an electric drill. No real alternative.

Depends what you mean by cleaning? For heavy fouling eg barnacles hydrochloric acid works a treat

hello there, think you may know me!! How about using sheeps grease straight from the fields of Wales, well that won't clean it but it is supposed to keep it clean once back in the drink.

yep, and they aren't realy brass but bronze alloy. Get rough stuff off with paint scraper, then a severe rust-scouring pad orwt-dry pad to polish up.

HCL is fab but you can't get it easily in the uk, it seems?
