Hi forumites,
I had a brunton varifold fitted to the saildrive on my beneteau 31.7 last year,
It was the most beautiful peice of engineering and almost a shame to hide it under water...but I digress.
When I had the boat lifted to overwinter I could'nt believe the state of my new pride and joy prop, it looked 20 years old with quite deep pits where the brass had been eaten away, my question is what did I do wrong?
My fear is that I just painted seajet shogun anti foul straight on to the new prop, which has caused more damage than just leaving it bare brass, and I am now thinking I should have put some form of primer first, can any one out there offer any advice for this coming season.

Regards
J
