Just bought this little baby as my new tender, and a second hand 4 horse 2 stoke Yamaha, what does the panel know of promarine,

although I've paid for it already, so a bit late to ask really. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

brand new 2008 model for the princely sum of £399.00 and the yam was £100.00

It's almost certainly Chinese made, but so are many other brands, and it doesn't mean it'll fall apart after 2 yeras. It wont last 20 years either, but it looks smart enough, and the price was good, so it seems a good buy. Good call on the 2 stroke as well, lighter and simpler.

I've got the Yam 4hp and it's my second one. They're great and you won't go far wrong and at £100.00 that's cheap. Simple to maintain and nice and light. By the way that rib looks stonking value, where did you get it from?

I realise you only get what you pay for, but if I bought zodiac or avon they are three times the price of this one, so if it does only last 3 years I'll be well pleased for the money, it'll only be £2.50 a week, unlike the others it is a true rib, not a inflatable wonnabe with sectioned flooring and a blow up keel., but only time will tell. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I thought it was cheap for what it is, and looked good value for money.

Let us know how you get on. Every time I've bought cheap, I paid dear. Dont forget the lifting eyes and other stuff.

Anyway good luck, it looks a good buy. Wish I could find your ouboard though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
