Weston Bay Yacht Club and the B.C.Y.A. are hosting a very interesting presentation
on 'Project Kracken' this Friday the 4th November 2011 to start at 2000 hours.at the
Weston Bay Yacht in the Clubhouse on the beach.
Carole MacLean is the Counter Terrorism Community Engagement Officer based with the
Avon and Somerset Constabulary General Aviation and Small Ports Unit at Bristol Airport.
The Small Ports Unit is a team of officers dedicated to protecting the national security of the UK and to counter the threat from terrorism, espionage and organised major crime including drugs trafficking, paedophile and child abduction offences and arms trafficking.
The team also gather intelligence and information about all aspects of crime including smugglingand illegal immigration.
