After a few months of no use at all, I can fire them ok but -no matter how long I keep my ginger pressing the knob- the flame goes out as soon as I withdraw my finger. The oven works fine.
I can only assume that a certain amount of sludge is accumulated within the internal mini-switch of the automation mechanism. I would like to think that only air fills the mini pipe automation cut off thing.
If this is the case, I could dismandle it and spray with carburator cleaning. I should of course remember to shitch of the gaz and take the unit to open air.
I would appreciate any ideas.

It sounds like the flame failure device has failed.
When you press the knob a small plunger pushes a cone-valve to release gas. Once the burner is lit a flame sensor heats and creates a small electrical charge which activates a small magnet which keeps the cone-valve open. As soon as the heat no longer creates the charge and the valve closes.
Follow the small-bore pipe to the back of the control knob and you should be able to unscrew the housing for the magnet and cone valve. If they are feely moving it looks as though you need new sensors.
Another trick is to disconnect the gas and blow down the pipe at the back of the cooker while heating the sensors in turn with a blowtorch. The valves should release... if you go red in the face they have had it.

Has the flame failure device been bent, possibly when cleaning the hob, and is no longer in the flame when lit.
There should be, what looks like a small piece of wire, in the flame when the burner is lit. It is this device, when hot, that indicates the flame is lit.
If it has been bent, carefully bend it back into place. If it breaks, sorry, but you will need to purchase a replacement.

Good luck.

I finally took EVERYTHING appart, got a good idea on how it works, I even saw tha small electromagnet, gave them all a good cleaning, put all back in place and now it works fine.

Now two questions actually.
1. Should I use any glue -like Loctite yellow or other color ?
2. How does the electric sensor creates this small charge ?
