As some people know i've followed the development of this boat, and have just been sent the first on water photos. I've no connection with Prinz or any dealers, just think its an interesting boat.

It seems to run really nicely, and looks to be shifting along at a decent rate on the IPS 600's

Looks a very impresive boat, and the handling seems great from the pics. Will be interested to see how well she is screwed together but overall a definite contender in the most profitable sector (44-58) ft of the Market!

Cheers

Re: Prinz 54 LONG POST PICTURES !!!

She does look nice indeed!

One question: in the second pic (stb side at speed), the lateral wake has a weird shape, some water seems to be thrown forward... Maybe it's just an impression from the pic, though - didn't you notice it on the boat?

...on a less serious note, am I the only one thinking of the following masterpiece, when reading the boat name?

Love the outside and the colours. Very stylish.

Not so sure about the interior - it all looks a bit cramped for a 50ft+ boats? Or maybe that is the camera angle. Quite like the colours and dthings, looking forward to having a look at Earls Court though /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree 100% on the inside tough to give some escuse to the builder this is construction no.1 and I am sure many things will improve
the bathrooms look well put togather and stylish
but some of the cabinet does not look so well, also notice the different varnish color of woods between the wood panels and cabinets, I hope this last one is just a reflection of the light with the camera
outside is nice tough it reminds me a bit of the new Sealine SC 35 (square port holes), tough to give credit to Prinz this design has been hangin around for about 2 years so it might be the Brits who copied the Belgian idea, still I might see then next to each other and see they have nothing to do

Re: Prinz 54 LONG POST PICTURES !!!

Cabinets look well put together, solid wood cappings on all edges. Not convinced about the colour scheme with 3 shades of wood finish, but guess i'll have to see it in the flesh. Outside looks fab though.

Did you get any photos of the deck saloon, i'd really like to see some?

Test drove the prinz, very impressive results , unbelievable unbelievable unbelievable turns ,you will agree when you test him . The interior looks much better then the pics are. The outside finishing is very good.
Overall my opinion is better then expected.

I open most "new Boat" posts on Mobo and am repelled by what from my POV is total ugliness and unnecessary bling but this one looks really good to me, it has a purposeful and elegant look, a bit of class.

Inside looks passably comfy.

Hello I am new to this forum. I am in the market for a 50's 3 cabin sports cruizer and I was told Prinz 54 will make its first public appearance tomorrow in Genova.
The photos in this topic are great. Does anyone have photos of the deck saloon, engine rom and crew quarters? A video would be excellent! Thanks

Yes, I would like to see the deck saloon. I perhaps cam across a bit negative in my previuos post - I like the look of this and the price is almost unbeleivable (£410k inc VAT) for what looks like a smart boat.

The wood colour may well be customer choice. It is contemporary and a bit different if nothing else /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes the price in interesting but after fitting the necessary options to match it to other comparable boats, the price jumps to £555k for the smaler engine version and £571k for the larger engines version. Apparently Volvo's will consume far less.

well slap my ass and call me sally, i think i'm due some commission or design fees or summit.

The original layout had the galley up and a pointless shoe box lower saloon, and i asked them to consider a small dinette opposite the helm, and put the galley downstairs. I even sketched up some layouts of what i wanted, and guess what, they were exactly what you see above. I was told that it couldn't be done unless i paid for the moulds as nobody else wanted that layout.

So now i've got proven boat designer credentials i'll give some thought to the Westline design for you, although my first impression is that the pointy end should be at the back ....
