Hi
We've had one go at curing this, and failed.
The net result of this leak, from the stbd side sliding window, is water on my entire electrical wiring above the guest bed!
Any help or knowledge, would be gratefully received

If this leak is about the P50 MK3 windows, I am looking for more information about it as well. Considering buying a P54 with the same side windows. Owner said there was a leak years ago, and he was now using electrical tape on the outside during rough weather to prevent new leaks. That means that the windows(which can be lowered just as car-windows) are useless.

They aren't very good but made by Trend so well known.
My one is 12 years old and has always been stiff but never leaked.
I suspect there may be problems if a boat hasn't, in the past, had care taken in opening/closing these windows.
I never open mine fully (only lower about about 10") - just enough for ventilation or for passing an electric lead out.
But, if a previous owner has opened it too far, I suspect that it may get stuck.
But if care is taken, they do work and there are lots of good things about Princesses anyway.

The window pocket has a drain at the aft end which runs back to a collecter box in the engine room. Check where the hose attaches to the outlet on the window pocket. We had a problem with several boats where the drain hose didn’t have a constant fall but went uphill to go over the engineroom forward bulkhead so water collected in the pocket and drowned the window lift motor. Had to replace several of those, not an easy job.

I suspect that some pics, year of boat etc will help you get a better answer.
Did you ever resolve this issue? I am now getting the same problem. I have had some external sealing done one screens etc. and it didn't leak before! Any advice would be welcome
