Princess 435 anchor relay

I have a 1989 Princess 435 motorcruiser with a strange fault on the electric anchor winch which will only operate in one direction, whether from the lower helm, flybridge, or remote control on the pulpit, I've verified the motor itself by reversing the HT leads, and checked that there is no current on one lead by clamp meter, so the fault must lie in the wiring. I've tried to locate a relay, but have so far drawn a blank. Any suggestions?

Do you mean you can't locate the relay on the boat, or you can't locate a replacement relay?

Morning Neale, laf, I cant locate the relay! (its very embarrasing!)

On our boat, the relay is in an ip65 plastic box in the chain locker.
