Hi there am looking for new boat, was going down sports cruiser road but dont fancy standing up all day to drive it, so back to flybridges I think.
Now I work on all sorts boats but dont get chance to really have a good run in them, and when I do its ususlly stood between both engines with ear muffs on!, so comments please on these two and please add any more suggestions on what to buy, budget is just around 110k mark without knocking on the banks door.

I know both boats well and both great boats but you need 300 hp +
there are P360 s about with 220 hp to 370, we have 300hp and goes well.

But there is the problem by the time you squeeze in 63 s to a 360 some service parts are tricky so you might want to look at the 380 or a 360 with 305 cats/cummins-mercruiser 300s

Thanks, yes know all about working on them, dead easy with mercs and kad 42/43/44 but 63 series and cats not too good, impeller on stb engine a bit time consuming, always do it with oil filters off then not too bad, just want general opinion of goods and bad points on sea handling, space on board etc and why you would not buy another etc, 380 seems better as it has 2 heads but 360 looks a newer boat, looked at phantom 38 but side cabin is really small and a bit pricey for me.
What engines do you have?.

Hi Paul, I'm no expert , but when we brought Dreamtime down to Malta from La Grand Motte a few years ago in April we had F6/7/8 most of the way. Very bumpy!!! Our delivery skipper had delivered hundreds of boats to the Med.and said few boats would have taken the punishment we took, and the P360 performed brilliantly with no ill effects. As they say" doing it is believing it". We had a F9 warning and we drew the line there and altered course away from Corsica. As you know, bigger engines help, our 235's are a bit on the low side but economical. The style of the P360's is very good. Just cleaned ours and she looks like new after 12yrs.
By the way, cutlass brg's were a breeze- thanks. Good luck with your search, let us know how you get on. Cheers mate. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
