Have owned a Princess 35 for the last couple of years, the layout is with the starboard cabin having a so called double berth. To say that this berth is cosy for a couple is an understatement. It looks like the berths width was extended at the time of manufacture to enable it to be called a 'double'.

I am therefore thinking of changing this cabin to bunk beds, which I feel would be ideal for the little ones, however, I will probably being changing boats in a year or so, and was therefore wondering whether this change would add value to the boat or not make any difference.

Your views please.

<font color=blue>Providing the job is undertaken professionally and doesn't look like a D.I.Y. then I doubt if it will make an iota's difference

As far as I am aware. The two standard options was. A dinnet instead of a cabin. Thats what I've got. Or bunk beds. Which I've seen, and looks really great for two. Especially kids. Also handy for keeping the rubbish in, out of sight. Think all you will be doing is putting the boat back to as it should have been. Make sure you get a first class job done, with the same timbers, or close.

<font color=blue>Same with my Princess 435, two versions, I have the non-dinette version and the cabin is just one big storeroom.
Strangely enough the dinette version cost less that the cabin version when new.
