Re: Princess 31.5

Erm actually it was a 31.5 went to look at today.Very nice boat, galley a bit tight.Overall impressed with this style of boat P31.5 or P35 and think this will be my next step up.
Bit concerned about flybridge on (small?)32 ft boat.
Anybody know anybody who got one.
Only 300 hours on Volvo 41B engines but neglect evident everywhere.Even puddles of rain water laying on shelves of forecabin lockers.Suspect poor thing has lain idle for winter or two, good valet would sort most of it but water staining on woodwork would need attention.
Next thing will be to look at the P35.Nearest one to me in Penton so off there next .

Re: Princess 31.5 vs Broom.

Just as soon as my bus pass turns up and I can buy a Broom with built in incontinance sheets.

Just reyurned from a weekend with hlb on his P35, actually about 40' and seems enormous inside, about 3 times as much useable room as my CI32. He also had the P33 before and reckons they're like chalk and cheese. Well worth a look, suspect it will be much bigger than a later 330 which I think reflects its actual length.

Re: Princess 31.5 vs Broom.

But your used to slower speeds in your old Princess, go on you know it makes sense weve all go to slow down some time, I mean its not as if youre called Youngit is it.

Re: Princess 31.5

I've got a 315. 1990 with twin 41s.

It's a great boat and although it sounds small to have a flybridge it handles really well. MBM have got an archived report from when it was launched.

PM me if you want any detailed info.

Friend of mine was looking at these and found P35 a little old fashioned inside and ruled it out.
Saw a P330 in Brighton (Ancasta) which was a disaster area, but liked the finish and layout. 2nd cabin pretty small. Offer about £20k less than asking price to allow for fumigating etc.
More modern to look at both inside and out.
I found him a beauty of a P330 in Breskens (S Holland), Joppe International. Think website is www.joppeint.nl. Inside photos look immaculate. Unfortunately, he had ruled it too small inside by then!

Re: er 330.

Compared to my Fred Flintstone P33 the P35 is Starship Enterprise./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
I will have a quick butchers at the Brighton website.

Re: er 330.

Agree that after a P33 the 35 is in the enterprise league. Not only that but built like a brick shit house. I cant find a better boat.

Which one?
Brighton or Breskens?

Afraid the answer is no anyway.
If Brighton don't take SWMBO. My friend's wife refused to go inside initially. That bad.

Brighton, but if you thought the P330 was rough you should have seen the Fairline outside the brokers office. How can i put this......if Steptoe and Son had a boat......
