When we started our search for a P35 there were around 8-10 on the market, that seems to have dwindled down to 2 or 3.
Couple of things to be aware of and both of them are the clunk click MS4 gearboxes.Original VP boxes are long out of production, some spares are available.
Last of the P35 range had HS1 hydraulic boxes and transom door option.
A few secondhand boxes around but virtually all are the 1:93 ratio not the 2:63 need for straight swap.
As an idea a several members on our moorings have spare gearbox lurking in the garage. Two have Princess 330 and one a Corniche which uses same gearbox.
There is budget new gearbox conversion but loads of work including altering angle of engine and dragging it back an inch or two, plus the sustitute box is not really man enough to handle the output of the 41.
Avoid any outdrive version and the version with weedy 165HP engines if poss.
