About 1.3 mpg I would think, take my advice, dont bother with these Mercruisers, I have just overhauled one, bmw same one, cost a fortune to do it, better boat for same money is Princess 35 with 200hp volvo 41a/b series engines.

I've got Mercruisers in my boat - OK it doesn't move much. But they seem good engines. 4.2L Turbo diesels.

So you unscrew this, and put it safely here, then oopps...
All - IMHO, BTW, FWIW and NWGOI

Barry, most engines are good untill they go bang, so if yours do you will need to dig deep, parts equivalent to other makes are more money if mercruisers, you have been warned!.

I have a Princess 315 with twin Volvo 200 hp turbo diesels. It is almost identical to the 330. it is a heavy boat and can be quite sluggish once it is fully loaded with fuel, water and all the usual unneccesary crap that women can't do without. If it also fouled the top speed can reduce to 16/17 knots.

The big advantage is that because it is so solidly built the seakeeping is brilliant.

sorry no info on the engines.

Forget the Mercruisers unless you got real deep pockets parts make Volvo look cheap.

But how do you know it does 26 knots, if it's in York. Less it's going round the hourse race track!! Mine says it does 27 so there. But only manages 25 now its had brand new props and a bottom scrub. Before it got down to about 20.

Re: Princess 330 re HLB

Have you never seen the floods in York, the horses float down the river, and the Boats go anywhere
