Just been looking at MBY March 05 page 60, it details the Princess V70 at £1.43m and the SS Predator 72 (also 1ft more beam) at £1.23m ? wonder why the big difference

Must be a mistake, I think. £1.2M sounds too cheap, if you can accept that that amount of money and the word cheap could ever be used in the same sentence. I'm sure Derf has accurate pricing.

Pred 72 as follows:

Man 1100's 1,233,750
Man 1360's 1,391,200
Man 1500's 1, 478.150

All inc VAT bare boat.

Not sure what engines V70 has but thought they were 1300's but may be wrong.

Re: Princ..V70 & SS.. Pred72

the article says
V70 engines up to 1675hp MAN or CAT price FROM £1.43m
Pred72 engines up to 1550hp MMAN price FROM £1.23m

Big difference given the Pred is longer and beamier.

But the "from" price includes MAN 1360 V12's on the Prinny and 1100 V10's on the Pred. But I agree I think the V70 is still overpriced. The P67 is 200K cheaper and you get twice as much boat in my opinion.
