Looking at the exhaust elbow on my Prima at the weekend, and noticed its pretty corroded....

I'l replace it as a matter of course, but also noted that the elbow has a black component bolted to it (where the water inlet is - in line with the water hose) that appears to maybe at one stage have been powder coated or similar.... its only small maybe 40mm long, and has the pipe take off for the water supply as part of it...

Any idea what this is?

ASAP don't stock replacement elbows, so it'll be an OEM version of one kind or another, but not sure what this black component is.... and therefore what to order.... it might just be as simple as an adaptor for the water injection pipe...

Looking at exploded diagrams this evening, it appears that the elbow itself has a bolt on casting (just a small one) that provides the water injection point.....

No doubt the whole assembly will be outrageously expensive.... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

So all that this leaves is the need for measurements.... I guess ASAP might well know, but in case, before I have to drag myself down to the boat to measure, does anyone know the exhaust hose internal diameter, bolt pattern/PCD and raw water hose connection sizes for a Perkins Prima M50?
