pride of denia (sank in formentura)

I am looking for a picture of a boat which ran aground from my marina 'pride of denia' can any one help? /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Do you mean "Free Spirit of Denia" - a 38'(ish) Sealine which went on rocks a few weeks ago?

yes sorry free spirt of denia do you know it? and how did it happen she was a sealine F42/5

There was another mobo; new owners with a brand new 26footer went out of Denia 2weeks ago. Did some things right with a bit of training and handling and then off they went. They were reading the water temp as the depth (so I was told later) - 22 degrees so they are doing 20ish knots 200metres off the beach north of Denia Marina. Should have checked their charts as it's a teensy weensy bit shallow there (and for a long way out) so crunch and €30K's worth of damage.

We were out and about and heard the PAN PAN as they were stuck on the rocks and supported as best we could.
