Just noticed that my quarterly dd for MB&Y has increased by 19% to an equivalent of £4.83 per copy. New sub. offered @ £19.49 per six months - £3.25 per copy. Have time been taken over by the gas board?

Apart from the PBO I also buy Yachting Monthly, But having read the excellent PowerBoat and Rib I am going to cancel my Yachting Monthly and subscribe to PowerBoat and Rib. Excellent Articles.

Admittedly my option is more expensive but I subscribe to the ipad version via 'Readly'.

At £7.99 per month I can access 100's of titles and whilst PowerBoat & Rib is not one of them, titles do include MB&Y, PBO, Yachting Monthly, Yachting World etc. read online or download and read later.

Better still, the cost includes access by 5 devices so the cost is spit between me and 4 friends and we can all have whatever mags we want so it works out at less than £20 per year each. That's me being a skinflint

No connection - just think it works well if you prefer reading on ipad rather than paper copies.

+1 for readily - if you get more than a couple of mags a month then it’s a no brainier...
