For anyone driving between Levkas and Preveza airport there has been a baffling road change in the last 4 days.
Going to the airport from Levkas the left turn off route 42 at Ag Nikolaos is blocked off and no diversion info whatsoever given. You will travel a disconcerting distance towards Vonitsa before joining a new link to route 55 that has just opened signposted Preveza still with no sign of airport shown. You will get within a couple of miles of the Prevza tunnel - by which time you'll really be sweating with no airport shown on the signage before a small one- the only one, finally does appear - after you've passed the approach lights in the lagoon to your right!
Can't speak for the outbound journey but be prepared!
