Hi,

I have been looking at various charts for the area covering May/June tp get some idea re wind directions, they seem to be all over the place.

One of the wags in the bar said its a port tack all the way down !!

Can any body give me a slightly more precise estimate?

Many thanks

From my experience of the 2008 JAC the closest would be your comment "They seem to be all over the place" A good check on the weather websites before you go may give you the first 2 to 4 days. I went through about 4 depressions (not personal ones). In 2008, I was told by John Jepps, The weather systems were almost like winter systems, i.e further South than they should be. I intend to assume nothing and take what comes.

Well until your there and covered by the Azores high, I'd have thought your still covered by the depressions sweeping across the Atlantic... Especially in Biscay!
