Pretty gaffer in Emsworth at the weekend

Anyone know who's it is? Whilst I would never want to own one myself (to much varnishing etc) I do appreciate seeing these lovely old boats out sailing.

Maybe they'd like a couple of photos.

She's a Heard 28. One of the Gaffers&Luggers Fleet. But the owner is not a GALA member unfortunately.
They are very low maintenance boats. The hulls are GRP. My own is GRP hull with the rest teak. The only varnish is on the spars. They come in different flavours, mine "Aeolus" has a small doghouse and is mostly (teak) flush decked.

You could also have been southbound and being overtaken, but anchor sounds better. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
