What you should do
Is get a boat without a 'Tent'
That is the way forward
At least you have listened to Me over the years
I mean 'outdrives'
The Curse of the boating World
But 'Some' do persevere with the Devils
Can you hear me Bruce!

The stiffness problem is caused by seawater spray drying out on the snap ring of the female part of fitting.reducing the diameter of the snap ring.
Cure is to apply Vaseline with a cotton bud internally 100% cure
OMG have i got the right website or did I click on something else, stiffness, female part, Vaseline. STOP it immediately. This is a family show.Sorry couldn't resist.
PTFE aerosol works for me.:encouragement:
Your boat is looking grubby. Just saying. You're missed. No more coffee stops on my way to raid Roy's funbox.
Hoping to be there end of this week Bruce I'll sew your zip then, if you haven't got it done already:encouragement:

Thanks John. Let me know when you're down and if I havent got stuck under an engine I will pop over. I managed to get trim ram pins out easily enough but contrary to all expectations putting new ones back in meant dissembling the engines. My engine room looks like a plucked chicken!
You must have used the wrong one … when I do the studs and zips it lasts for ages! If mine wasn't an hour away on the boat I'd tell you what it's called! We did use silicon spray but it dried out too quickly!
should have taken the caps off![]()
