I am just returning from the Miami boat show where I saw the Prestige 550 Fly. I was very impressed with her layout, overall quality and attention to user needs (such as standard equipment including a third Zeus control in the aft cockpit, and a starboard side aft wince). I am seriously considering purchasing this boat, but there is little information and experience with her brand in the US. Her manufacturer is Jeanneau, known for making excellent lightweight and fast sailboats. But I do not now how this translates into a motor yacht. For example, the weight of the 550 is close to 20,000lbs lighter than her rivals in this class (Azimut, Princess). I welcome any actual user experience or information regarding performance, hull structural integrity, flybridge structural integrity, etc. I will be using her in the Caribbean waters around the Cayman Islands. Thanks.
