I know a few people on here have these.

Does anyone know the main difference between the earlier and later boats? I've seen some 08/09 boats as being described as having 'updated styling including the revised flybridge moulding' but I'm bugg ered if I can see a difference

Not absolutely sure on the 36, but the 32 had a longer swim platform by about 2 feet, some extra gunwale drains, some extra lettering on the rear of the flybridge and D series engines. Maybe some other bits too I can't recall. No doubt an owner will be along shortly with a full report!

Hi, I have a '08 Prestige 36 with the so called revised flybridge. I believe the sunpad to the rear is a tiny bit bigger, you can just see the difference in the rear of the moulding such as the ray arch has been moved slightly. None of it makes any real difference but what you will notice on the earlier models has smaller bathing platforms and no drain outlets on the side decks which must be a real pain having water running back aft.

We have a 2005 model and also looked at a 2006 and I think this is when they changed. That said, ours does have the larger bathing platform and drain holes as previously mentioned but KAMD300 rather than the D series of engine which is found in the 2006 model so there was probably a bit of a transitional period.

On the newer model the dashboard fascia's are different but not much else that I can remember (or noticed).

We found the 2006 with D4 (260's) around £10 to £15k more than the 2005 KADM300 and we could not justify the extra spend.

I also spoke to a former Prestige dealer who said that in his opinion the KAMD300 sat better in the boat and improved handling over the D engines as the original design was for the 6 cylinder lumps!

The boat is based in Gosport and you are welcome to have a look if you are in the vicinity.
