I had a weld fail on an oil feed pipe and need the part pressure tested. Basically there is an oil take off block on my Yanmar, which has pipe welded to it . The other end of the pipe has a 22 mm threaded connection. I need to blank off the block end, put 40 psi of pressure down from the threaded connection, to show that pressure (and therefore oil) is being lost through the weld failure and then complete a report. I live in North Wilts and is there anyone out there who can recomend a company.

Not sure of your arrangement, but years ago I made a pressurised cylinder to top up the thick oil in a back axle.I got an old car inner tube from a tyre sale company(they will give you one) cut off the schrader valve, removed the valve insert ,cleaned the outer and soldered to the lid of the thick container. I was then able to pump it up and check pressure with a pressure gauge. Can you do this?

You could try Hughes Brothers tooling in Chippenham, in the unit across the road from us on 01249 445866 I have had them do some stuff for me in the past. They treat it more like a hobby than work Regards Chris
