I intend to cross the Atlantic later this year. My Doctor tells me that the NHS is allowed to prescribe 3 months supply only, for travel abroad. He offered to give me a private prescription so that I could buy enough to last me for a year. Would it be worth it to buy the drugs here, or would the drugs be cheaper in the Canaries and Carribean? Would I need to find a doctor there to prescribe them, or can they be bought over the counter? The drugs are needed to control my blood pressure, namely Enalapril Maleate and Bendrofluazide.
