New annual work permit through. They check we are suitably insured etc and then issue an annual ticket. Nice laminated card plus the checking so one would expect an admin fee.

But nope, it's free.

A proper service to berth-holders. Making sure contractors are bone fide, without pushing up their costs.

Unlike the £100s charged by MDL for the same thing.

Premier part of Blackrock part of Merryl Lynch iirc, American attitude to customer service way ahead...IME .

I'm in a Premier for winter - 'twas nice to hear that they moved my boat FOC to the hoist & back (but didn't lift the boat) so the onsite guys could go up the hoist and fit a new masthead ariel for a reasonable charge.

27 footer, in the water, so not ideal for mast climbing, & better than lowering it.

(Essar - I'm still working out cheapest place near Chi to land a bilger for Coppercoat after Easter, but that'll be another thread...)

Yep start a new thread and ask - I can only help in the central solent with lift prices - no problem CopperCoating in chi though :D
