Just got my bill for next year and the increase was only 3.50% up from last year. Can't really complain at that especially as there are more berthholder benefits than other companies.
Have had boats in Campers, now Gosport, for about 12 years. Can't afford the Hamble (Gossie is about 60% of the Hamble). No connection with Premier other than as a customer. There was a post a few days ago moaning about a big price hike in Haslar, thought I might pass on some better news. A mate rang around a few marinas last week and most seem to have room even if they are coy about admitting it. FWIW Gossie is about £4,650 for 11 m, £5,350 for 12m. Maybe there is enough of a recession, and free berths, to control some prices!
Proably gonna leave the wayfarer on the visitors pontoon
£ 5.60 per night when were coming down each week
Cant be doing with the launching mast down under the bridge etc for the price difference of £20 a week
1st big journey haslar to the isle of wight wife as back up on big boat
What do you reckon got to pick the weather though
See you there
regards
With a support boat you will be fine. In terms of conditions I reckon Neap tides and a nice steady Force 3. If you want to land the dinghy anywhere you'll probably want to arrive at high water as well.
Thinking about it I would actually suggest doing the trip from Stokes Bay to IOW. Portsmouth Harbour entrance is not the place to be without an engine.
