\"Precious Time\" Is Slipping Away
After six brilliant years of pottering about the beaches and coves of Tremadog Bay in my little Shetland 535 "Precious Time" I have just sold her to very, very nice man who is going to have her based on Windermere - he might find that the 55hp Mariner outboard is a bit unnecessary in view of the speed restriction but otherwise I hope he has as much pleasure out of her as I did.
The question now is what to do next. A very wise old friend of mine once suggested that "The pleasure derived from a boat can be measured in inverse proportion to its overall length"
I guess that there are plenty people hereabouts who have traded-up - anyone share the opinion of my mate or is bigger always better?
