pray silence - they didn\'t make it...

In order to revive my eldery dodgers I put them in the washing machine this evening.

While watching a film I heard my other half's screams "no, stay back, you don't want to go in there" she yelled as I approach the washine machine room.

I'm sorry to announce that neither dodger survived the operation and were both proclaimed dead at 8:37 PM.

Looks like Arun sails will be getting even more money out of me...

Have you no faith? This is easter. What happened at Easter. Look at them again in a couple of days.

Heartless I know

After your loss you need consolation, but think of it like this - sailing with dodgers is like driving in a hat.

It marks you out as a person to be overtaken, scorned, blown into the dust, as your lovingly polished Rover 200 dwindles in the rearview mirror.

Throw away that trilby as you drive down to the coast, and sail free and fast, undodgered. After all, you don't want to be last away from the traffic lights of life, surely?

Well, Ken, that's my car you've just described there...

No hat though. And it's a bit less lovingly polished since we bought the boat.
