Due to my age and the changeing face of the Med,I decided to bring my Trader 50 back to the UK by sea, after a lot of deliberation ,fuel cost and me not being very enthusistic we decided to look at the possibility of shipping her or trucking overland. The road idea was a complete no no, she was to large to high to heavy, infact a completely negative except for one company, Interboat transport, who came back quiet positive and helpfull , and on a return load basis would move her from Port Napoleon to Carteret near Sherbourg . We excepted the quote . The day agreed , the transporter arrived, and from there on I was amazed at the professionalism ,care and trouble they took to make sure she was safe for the journey, six days later she was unloaded at the Marina in Carteret, the only damage was a few acorns on the flybridge, and me on the way for a heart attack, all I Can say is ThankYou Interboat plus the driver and crew for a job well done. The price came out cheaper than fuel cost from Port Napoleon to the uk south coast
