Re. right angle drills plus star spigot to upgrade your tailess winches into Power.
Barton Marine supplied the star spigot for 50p. Local machine shop charged £10.00 to turn spigot to fit drills.
Purchased a 24 Volt cordless drill on e-bay for £45.00 and screw fix supplied right angle chuck for £29.00.
Whole job for £85. So saving £65 on previous Quotes.
£120 for drill and £30 for star spigot from the USA.
Quite pleased with this outcome.But there is always a catch
my left hip has gone, so waiting for a replacement.So dancing around on the boat this summer looks a no no.More like Gin & tonics in the cockpit. Ah well you cannot win them all. Perhaps B&Q might do a hip replacement service this summer.Wonder if the wallpaper table will carry my weight?.
