But dont bother with down loading a resizing program. If you already have a photo editor use that but otherwise just just use the "uploading options " on Photobucket.

select forums or buletin boards, or whatever it says, if the photos are destined to be shown on here

The resizing and quality feature in Pix resizer is handy for non BB users as it cuts down both size and if appropriate number of megathingys per picture.Thus saving time for both poster and viewer.It also converts easily from odd formats to J Peg.
I agree not essential but often useful.
