posting photos.

Hi, I have photos in photobucket which Iam trying to post onto the forum without success, I type in the text of the message then I click the Image box which then instructs me to give an script code starting with http:// is this the number on the photo I want to post ie (img i2 ) .I would be pleased if someone could explain in an idiot proof way the correct method, sorry to bore all you accomplished posters but your help would be very much appreciated

In your photobucket album, you have a series of small 'thumbnail' pics.
Depending on how your album is set up, you'll either have a series of labels under each picture, or you'll see the label when you put the cursor on the image.

Scroll down to the label that says IMG and copy the url text next to it.

Then come and make a post here. Ignore the Image function, you don't need it. Just paste the url text you copied in photobucket directly onto the post here.

In Photobucket, under the photo is some boxes. The bottom one is IMG code. Just click in the box to highlight it, <ctrl>C to copy, then on YBW, do <Ctrl>V to paste.

Hi, brendan and rowana, success! although rather large I managed with your help to post a picture of my boat, I had in fact posted a picture about a year ago but this time i couldnt retreive the information from my brain, many thanks.

If you have a look at the options in your photobucket account, you can choose the size to automatically resize uploaded pics too. 'large' is the one you need for optimum posting on ywb
