Well, I went up to one of the Rollerblader/ info people and asked for information they just said 'what side am I on?'

I'm surprised that this nice salesman who was the font of all knowledge didn't advise you, rather than not have your money back, but, for a small additional sum would arrange to have the necessary equipment added to the Sealine of your choice.
To take this further, he should have advised on what was 'in' and how the mast and rigging could be embellished - a "little chrome here and there, Sir" or "Yes, of course we could match the sailcloth to the interior soft furnishings"
I can see where you are coming from, of course....
