Boat is now back on the water and running well, but I think there may be an issue with the power trim on the DPH drive.

It used to read -5 when trimmed right in for getting on the plane etc but now will only go down to -2, and sometimes that only reads -1. The pump is running but the drive wont trim in any more. Is it likely the sender is off, or do you think there is something stopping the proper movement of the leg.

Drive has been fully serviced and the retro fit steering ram gators fitted, but i cant see wny of that would affect it...

Does it feel any different when you take her out? I never look at the trim gauge. I do it all by how the boat is riding in given situations and sea states. In other words by feel!

Have you used the trim switch while at rest and seen if the leg is raising or lowering accordingly.

I gave up boating by numbers a long time ago. Look at the wake, does it change shape as you trim up and down?

I expect it will be the sender that wants "recalibrating" - that's what we were told when ours had the same "problem".
As Solitaire says, it's actually not a problem if you do things by how it feels. If we go in as far as possible, to get on the plane, we find that's a bit too much so adjust accordingly.
