Position for more batteries

i have two leisure batteries on my small intro 22 yacht. they are each going to a battery selector and can be ran together or individually, how can i add another battery?

Connect third battery in parallel with either of the others. It's usual to designate one battery as a starter battery and the other bank as the 'house' battery supplying all other services. But does you 22 footer have an inboard engine? 3 batteries seems excessive for it as presumably you haven't room for a fridge or fancy power hungry electronics.

I was amusing myself looking at boats for sale on boatshed and found one with two batteries, one standing atop the other in a locker! At that point I made a mental note - "Do not trust any DIY maintenance by this owner or by his yard!"
