Hi,
Given all the recent complaints about insurance companies etc, I thought it might be a good idea to praise a good company as well.
I just bought a Gib'Sea 76 which is no longer manufactured, but I was interested in getting a copy of the manufactures original brochure and data sheet. I e-mailed Portway Yacht Sales on Hayling Island as they are dealers of Dufour and Gib'Sea. Not expecting much luck, I received a phone call a day or so later from a lady from Portway who said they didn't have a copy but she had spoken to the importer and arranged for a brochure to be scanned from the archive and sent to her by E-Mail. She then printed this off in full colour and sent it to me in the post.
They went to a lot of effort to get the information for me even though there was unlikely to be any type of sale for them.
This is very good service.
