I returned from PT in March with a cunning plan-trailer my boat out and put it on the lake near Tabua as a 'liveaboard' base while continuing my house hunt. There's a little marina there where I spoke to the chap and it all seemed fine. Then of course, lockdown. My online hunt has continued and I have a list of possibilities further south near Pedrogao Grande which are all handy for the albufeira do Cabril. Thing is, if it happens it will be a 'one shot', as I will have to hire a trailer and tow vehicle, so I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of launching/mooring/staying aboard on this or other lakes on the Zezere?
I'm thinking specifically about keeping the boat lakeside as near to whatever house I buy as possible....
As I said, the little marina on the Mondego is happy to have me as a liveaboard or resident mooring, but unless I change my house hunt it's not really the right area, which is a shame as it's lovely.
Anyway, if anyone has anything to say, happy to hear it!
