Hello all,

I'm new here and look forward to linking up with like minded folk.
Briefly when I retired in 2015 I headed south but having got as far as Gib I went back to Portugal and ended up liking it so much I stayed. I currently live near Porto and keep my boat in Leixoes. I have sailed the length of the Portuguese coast quite a few times now and know most of the ports. Also travelled extensively inland.

So I'm reasonably well up on things Portguese and would be happy to help others if I can. Still learning the language but can usually make myself understood.
Also have a workshop here and can repair stuff.

Beinvenido!I live in Galicia but not near the sea.There are quite a few Brits lurking about Portugal so I’m sure your run into them,many arrive in the rias and then dash down the coast of Portugal on their way to the med or Atlantic as you know.
