Portugal PrePay SIM

Our excellent Spanish Lebara SIM deal doesn't work in Portugal, so we're trying to find a Portuguese equivalent. Our Spanish deal was 400 mins to UK numbers, 250MB data per month for E15. Is there a similar deal available in Portugal? We're in Povoa de Varzim just now...

We have a 4G Vodafone sim with router, new 18 month contract was 15/month for 6 months and then 25/month. Router IIRC around 60 euro. Unlimited downloads, although only paying for 20mbps, getting 53mbps up 8.5 down at the moment. Data sim for tablet is 5 euro, top-ups 10 euro for 1 GB over 28days or 10 hours valid 3 months. We use Skype for calling UK but phone roaming costs should come down in a month or so. You will just have to shop around for the best deals.

Need fiscal number for all contracts here but easy to get that.

Thanks Graham..... we are only passing through for a few weeks so a contract wouldn't really make sense; it was a prepay we're looking for.

Pre-pay. It seemed to be the best value for money a couple of years ago. Maybe things have changed. It was time limited (e.g. 30 days) but not data limited, so good value for my kind of usage.

One of the marina liveaboards(povoa) has just bought a phone with sim for 19 euros,pre pay. It is becoming more difficult here to buy a sim card to put in your unlocked phone or dongle, probably because they make a nice profit on the hardware.

We've had no problems with Vodafone, their PAYGO sims are easily available at "their" shops but, I have heard of one or two problems with agencies and independent phone shops who try to push new phones.

I must admit I have never had any problem buying a sim card either from independants or company shops. The cost for prepay seems to have gone up a lot recently whilst contract costs have fallen.
