I was out dinghy sailing on Tuesday night and was really pleased to see the Police boat doing it’s normal rounds, it was a lovely evening marred only by a couple of “gentlemen” on jet-bikes that were buzzing around way in excess of the speed limit. I was great to see the Police hoof it up the harbour after them and provide them with some much needed advice. Later on a very noisy speed boat was also speeding in the harbour, on one run it passed close to the sailing dinghies that were out, they were also stopped and I presume offered some similar advice.

Well done Hants police marine unit.

(Please don’t take this as Mobo bashing but a pat on the back for the Five-O)

''Police boat doing it’s normal rounds'' ''it was a lovely evening''.............................makes sense.

My experience. They are a total bunch of wasters.

Good. Pleased to hear it. And I don't mind in the slightest you mentioning a 'well done'....

So how's about a pic of your Goat Island Skiff mentioned in your weblog - and the final, satisfactory arrangement of your boom-to-mast rope. It'snot a snotter - that's for spritsails..... but someone will be along soon with a proper name. ;)

I'll have to update it with the latest. Very pleased with the GIS, been out sailing it again this evening, twice in a week - perfect!
