We have been on a mud berth near Port Solent and more recently in Gosport Marina and have found Flag to be great. A double coat with the excess wiped around the waterline and we only have slime for about 18 months.

Last lot was on for 2 years and we started to get weed towards the end.

Cheers

First season, used what was on the boat when I bought it. I think it was called Gromore...

This year Blakes Tiger on special from Hardway Marine at about £35 a tin. Scrubbed off in October - a few barnacles a very small amount of weed and a lot of slime. From the bits I can see, the slime's back. I can't see any weed.

BTW, I need to dry out soon to service a seacock that's leaking a bit. Should I antifoul at the same time, or wait until April and dry out again? Cost of scrubbing bay is negligible. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Loss of a day's sailing is incalculable /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
