If you're talking about Spitbank then yeh very nice indeed. They're doing a 40's WWll experience this month...£200 pp which sounds really good and if you wanna extend the experience for overnight it'll cost you an extra £800

It doesn't seem that long ago that one of the forts was up for sale 'for renovation'. (It was probably 20 years ago, but there you are). £385k iirc.

I went out to Spitbank over thirty years ago when it was was first privately owned. It was bought in a derelict state for 8k, the other 2 were going for 12k and 14k...
