The weather and weekend finally came into alignment today, so we took Delfino for a run down the coast to Dartmouth and up the Dart as far as Galmpton. Massive thanks to YBW's esteemed Mr Burnham for the video footage below and his company for the day. :encouragement: Also thanks to Mr Charlton who trekked down from Stoke-on-Trent with Fletcher 19GTS in tow and shared the trip (chase boat in video). We achieved our first proper trip since the shakedown run around Torbay when she launched on 28th December - no crisis and nothing broke! (Looks like it might be a good season ;) ) I need to practice the stern-in berthing, but lots of fenders and no hiccups...

Great video, loved the slow-mo work very cool. Fantastic looking boat too. It's mad as i was only just discussing popping down to Brixham an hour ago over dinner with my wife. Thanks for sharing that. :encouragement::cool:

Hi Rob,
Good to see you managed a good run out in her at last, you made use of the best day of the year by far......so far.

Excellent video!

We also had a run around to Dartmouth yesterday, how on earth we missed you I do not know.

Sorry we missed you Andy - we left about 10:45am, went up as far as Galmpton and back around 2pm for a bit of footage in the Bay.

How's your new boat? Will have to keep a better lookout for you... :)

Loving it Rob, different beast altogether from the last boat. We've only missed one weekend aboard since we took ownership.

We must get that beer and natter sorted sometime soon.

Looks great Rob.

I like the ride attitude, nice and flat. Remind me, what engine does it have and how fast will it go?

Hi Pete,

Single Steyr 246 (Monoblock Turbo Diesel) and a Bravo One drive. Seems to run well - she's currently topping out at 31kts with 1/2 tank and 4 aboard. Quick enough for our needs and cruises comfortably mid 20's. I reckon she'd run a slightly higher pitch if ever I felt inclined, but not sure it's worth the cost for perhaps 1-2kts. Might do some testing and some calcs at some stage... :)

The lettering looks great and I think suits the boat perfectly

Cheers,

Robin

Definitely! :encouragement:

Great video. The Dart looks stunning as always! Nice day for it... enjoy the boat, she’s lovely.

It did indeed. I've been waiting for such a day on the weekend - they always seem to pop up during the week and I'm left looking out at it through green envious eyes! (Rain and mist most of today...)

a proper sunseeker turn more heads

A few comments already - she does look good and the looks of that that era seem to have improved with age. (Shame I can't say the same about me :ambivalence: )
