Portmahomack

Whilst I’ve been there before, about 8 years ago, I’m surprised to find little or no info on Portmahomack anchoring places and any things to watch out for.

Any info or sources would be appreciated.

All I know is there are no visitor facilities there, all the pontoon places are taken and there is a long waiting list.

You can go into Inver Bay just to the SE if your boat will dry out upright at low tide.
